Pedestrian Safety Action Plan and Monthly Memorial Walks for San Francisco
I recall the toddlers being killed this year not to mention all the cars hitting bikes, etc. When is SF going to protect its citizens from reckless drivers? What was that protest of bikers every Friday or so? Was it Critical Mass? Are they still around? We need something similar for pedestrians.
Task force is the right idea — but it only works if it has real authority to force changes, not just make recommendations.
